Liability for content
As a service provider, we are responsible under § 7 (1) TMG for our own content on these pages in accordance with general law. The person responsible for the data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the person named under "Information according to § 5 TMG".
2. Hosting & server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider stores technically necessary access data (server log files). This is a technical necessity of running the website and is outside the site operator's control. The hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. There is a data processing agreement with the provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. 3. Contact
If you contact us via the contact form, e-mail or phone, your details (name, e-mail address, possibly phone number and your message) are stored to process the enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or fulfilment of a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your enquiry). We do not pass these data on without your consent and delete them as soon as they are no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Booking enquiries
If a specific booking enquiry is made via our website, we process the data required for this purpose (name, address, e-mail, phone number, preferred travel period, number of guests) for the initiation and execution of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. These data are kept after the end of the stay in accordance with statutory tax and commercial retention periods.
5. Guestbook
You can leave a review in our guestbook on our website. The name you provide, your entry and an optional origin will be stored and publicly displayed after manual approval. Submission is voluntary. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future. We will delete your entry on request at any time — simply send us a short message.
6. Embedded map (OpenStreetMap)
An interactive location map provided by OpenStreetMap is embedded on the "The Apartment" page. OpenStreetMap is operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom.
When loading the map, your browser establishes a direct connection to OpenStreetMap Foundation servers and transmits your IP address. OpenStreetMap uses these data exclusively to operate the map service — no user profiles are created, no tracking is performed and no data are processed for advertising purposes. OpenStreetMap may set functional cookies required for displaying the map.

7. Cookies
This website itself sets exactly one cookie, which is technically necessary: the multilingual plugin Polylang stores your selected language version (de / en / nl) in a cookie named "pll_language" so that the site is displayed in the same language on a subsequent visit. Storage period: one year. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), as this cookie is strictly necessary for the language-switching function expressly requested by the user; consent is therefore not required. We do not perform any analytics, tracking or use of marketing cookies. For information about cookies set by the embedded OpenStreetMap map service, please see section 6. You can disable the setting of cookies in your browser at any time – in that case, you will have to select your language again on every visit.
8. Your rights as a data subject
You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). 9. Right of complaint to the supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The competent authority is the Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland, Fritz-Dobisch-Straße 12, 66111 Saarbrücken.
